Celine-GrameenShikkha Slum School Project
The Celine-GrameenShikkha Slum School Project funded by Ms. Celine Delacharlerie of Singapore is providing non-formal primary education to 50 slum children in MirpurShah Paran Slum under Dhaka North City Corporation. Approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government and with a yearly budget of BDT 1.89 lacs in the year 2023 the project will provide grade-4 primary education at Celine-GrameenShikkha Slum School in two shifts – morning and afternoon, each shift with 25 students. Project activities are supervised from the local GrameenShikkha office in Section-10, Mirpur. Text books for this school is supplied free of cost by the Directorate of Primary Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education of Bangladesh Government.
