Grameen Shikkha IDKIDS Slum Students Secondary School Support Project (2023)
The Grameen Shikkha-IDKIDS Slum Students Secondary School Support Project, funded by the WE ACT FOR KIDS FOUNDATION of France, aims at providing financial support to 383 poor slum students who are studying in grades 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in different local high school in Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation. The project is approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government and has a budget of BDT 39.15 lacs for the year 2023. Project activities are supervised from the local Grameen Shikkha project office in Section-10, Mirpur. Objective of the project is to assist these students complete secondary education and advance toward higher education. Students are receiving education under the mainstream education system of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh Government.
